Q. Who can participate in Loudspace Jams?

A. Loudspace jams are open to all ages and all musical genres. Whether you're a 14 year old aspiring death metal drummer or a 45 year old bluegrass fiddler, we want you there!

Q. Do I need to know how to play an instrument to participate?

A. Absolutely not. Loudspace is open to musicians of all skill levels, including no skill level. Loudspace creates the perfect environment to learn your instrument of choice from your peers, and works to provide active music education and workshops for participants. Loudspace jams are a zero judgement zone for budding musicians!

Q. Do I need to bring my own instruments/amps/etc.?

A. No, instruments, amplifiers, and other necessary equipment are provided for anyone who needs it. You are more than welcome to bring your own instrument or amplifier if you'd like, but our mission is to create a space where it is as simple as possible to jump in to jamming with other musicians. If you don't want to lug around your heavy equipment to and from jamming, you don't have to! Our goal is also to provide opportunity to those who may not have access to musical instruments or programming and remove all barriers to entry to becoming musicians.

Q. How can I donate equipment?

A. Loudspace accepts donations of all types of music equipment. Old beaten up guitar collecting dust in the basement? Drum set you only used once? Tangled mess of old cables? We'll take it all. Everything helps, from strings and straps to amps and mixing boards, everything helps us run our programming and helps us break barriers to playing music with others! Free pickup of most items can be arranged. Donated items are tax deductible.

Q. How can I get involved?

A. Loudspace, Inc. is always seeking volunteers to help with programming, fundraising, and running pop-up jam events. Get in touch with us at the link below or shoot us an email at loudspaceinc@gmail.com to see what opportunities are available!
